South Dakota G,F&P, Sturgis Police, Sturgis PAL and the Meade County Sheriff’s Dept. are happy to be joining together for this program to get kids ages 5-17 outside for the day. Please help us spread the word to make this first-time event for Meade County a success. If there are any questions or to RSVP direct them to the contact information on the attached flyer for Game Warden Ryan Pearson.

The Sturgis Step Outside Program was a huge success, we had over 80 kids in attendance. The kids were able learn about some of the animals that live in South Dakota, as well as be able to participate in BB Gun Shooting, Archery Shooting and Fishing. We ended the day with hot dogs, brats and cold drinks. Sturgis PAL was happy to be able to give a new fishing pole to all the kids that attended. We are already looking forward to making this event bigger and better next year. Thank you to all the volunteers that helped out and a special thank you to all the kids that came out for a fun day spent with Sturgis Police Officers, Meade County Deputy Sheriff’s and South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks Game Wardens. GREAT JOB EVERYONE!
